Gov. Evers Authorizes Iowa County to Lower Flags to Half-Staff in Honor of District Attorney Larry E. Nelson
 

MADISON — Gov. Tony Evers today authorized Iowa County to lower the United States and the State of Wisconsin flags to half-staff as a mark of respect for Larry E. Nelson, a District Attorney, who was a champion for criminal justice and dedicated his life and career to serving his community. The order is effective beginning at sunrise on April 22, 2019, and ending at sunset on April 23, 2019. 

"Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Larry E. Nelson, a dedicated District Attorney, who leaves behind an honorable legacy of service to Iowa County and his state," Gov. Evers said. "His life of public service and advocacy for victims of crime will not be forgotten."
