Womens Hsitory month

The contributions of women through the years have often gone unappreciated and forgotten, but each year, in March, Women's History Month is a time for reflection, appreciation, and celebration. Women's History Month is a necessary time to recognize significant and small contributions that have improved our lives.

The Women Veterans Program highlights veterans from across Wisconsin to celebrate their strength, honesty, determination, and achievements in service and civilian life. Each Wednesday in March, WDVA will spotlight a woman veteran via our website as well as our Facebook & Instagram pages.
