(FRANKFORT, KY) – The Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE's) Testing Board of Review will meet virtually from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. ET on April 19.
The Testing Board of Review (TBR) and Kentucky's commissioner of education work together to ensure the integrity of all state-required assessments is maintained. 703 KAR 5:080 charges the TBR with providing a recommendation to the commissioner of education regarding testing allegations reported to KDE.
The commissioner appoints board members to represent various divisions within KDE. To maintain the independence of the board, members do not include persons whose job duties consist of either investigating testing allegations or those who work in the assessment and accountability area of KDE. Each board member receives Administration Code Training.
The meeting will be live streamed and can be watched on KDE’s Media Portal.
