Water Line Break: Commissioner's Student Advisory Council to meet virtually April 11

(FRANKFORT, KY) – Due to a water line break at the meeting location, the Commissioner's Student Advisory Council will instead be holding a virtual meeting at 9 a.m. ET on April 11.

The purpose of this group is to advise Kentucky's commissioner of education and the Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE) leadership team on issues relevant to high school students.

The group meets monthly both in person and virtually throughout the year to discuss how decisions made at the state level are affecting students throughout Kentucky. Council members provide feedback on critical issues impacting students and schools and work with KDE staff to develop ideas to improve and transform education.

The meeting will be live streamed and can be watched on KDE’s Media Portal.
