(FRANKFORT, KY) – The State Advisory Panel for Exceptional Children (SAPEC) meeting will be on April 27-28, 2023.
The council’s purpose is to support the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) which requires that states establish advisory panels to advise and assist the Kentucky Department of Education (KDE) on special education and related services for children with disabilities. The SAPEC members represent various agencies, individuals with disabilities, parents of children with disabilities, service providers and administrators.
The meeting will be held at the Green River Regional Educational Cooperative (GRREC) in Bowling Green.
