RAMM Shortlisted for Health Award

RAMM’s wellbeing programme has received recognition from Arts & Health South West (AHSW). The programme welcomes people with dementia and carers, people with mental health issues, and literacy students into the museum and RAMM is one of only thirteen .....

The Veitch Lecture: The Bowden Lily and its Devon Connection

The Bowden lily (Nerine bowdenii) is widely grown and much valued across the UK. Dr John David, Head of Horticultural Taxonomy at the Royal Horticultural Society, covers the story of its discovery and introduction into cultivation. He also explains its status today, based on his recent trip to South Africa...

Veitch Lamppost Tour

See the 16 painted period cast lampposts in the St David’s and St James area of Exeter each featuring a plant cultivated or discovered by the Veitch family with Plant Heritage Devon Group and the Exeter Veitch Trail.
