CDC Learning and Listening Session: COVID-19 Monitoring and Evaluation Case Study Findings and Public Health Implications
When: Thursday, May 11th from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. ET.
Description: CDC, in collaboration with its partners, invites you to attend a webinar on the COVID-19 Monitoring and Evaluation Case Study Findings and Public Health Implications. This session will highlight the methodology, results, and implications of a 12-month study that assessed the impact of COVID-19 interventions and activities on improving population health. The study was comprised of rapid case studies using a participatory approach, and case-control studies and national surveys. Hear from a study participant, Michigan Health Department, on how these strategies can be applied to health department efforts.

Integrating Anti-racist principles into public health practice: The Anti-Racist Cities & Counties (ARCC) Towards Justice Project
When: Monday, May 15th from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET.
Description: The University of Michigan’s School of Public Health (UM-Public Health) invites you to learn about the Anti-Racist Cities & Counties (ARCC) Towards Justice Project. This session will highlight data and insights from a collaborative project that aims to co-create an anti-racism evaluation tool with a local health department and community members. The presentation will include discussion on how the evaluation tool will help identify areas for growth and reflection in programs, practices, and policies that can be shared with other institutions to promote the local health departments’ capacity to dismantle racism.
