(FRANKFORT, KY) –The Kentucky Department of Education's (KDE's) Commissioner's Student Advisory Council will meet virtually on May 30 at 9 a.m. ET.
The purpose of this group is to advise Kentucky's commissioner of education and KDE's leadership team on issues relevant to high school students. The group meets monthly both in person and virtually throughout the year to discuss how decisions made at the state level are affecting students throughout Kentucky. Council members provide feedback on critical issues impacting students and schools and work with KDE staff to develop ideas to improve and transform education.
While this meeting will be held via video teleconference, members of the public may watch a livestream of the meeting available on the KDE Media Portal.
