TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF MOSSY CREEK CANOE LAUNCH IN HALL COUNTY
The canoe launch located on the Chattahoochee River at Mossy Creek Access Area in north Hall County is scheduled to temporarily close beginning Mon. Sept. 12, 2016 to allow the use of heavy equipment in the area.
This area, Mossy Creek, will receive extensive road maintenance the week of Sept. 12 with work expected to conclude by Sept. 16, 2016 (weather dependent). Maintenance includes road grading, ditch work, new culverts, new gravel and installation of erosion control measures. This maintenance should improve driving and parking conditions for area users.
