SHOOTING SPORTS FEST AT GEORGIA SOUTHERN OFFERS ACTIVITIES, DEMOS AND EDUCATION SESSIONS 

The free family-friendly Shooting Sports Fest, scheduled for Oct. 1, 2016, is open to the public.  What can you expect to see and do while there? You can take part in shooting activities, register for giveaways, view product demonstrations and attend educational sessions.  Additionally, multiple vendors will showcase their products, services and local organizations.  

Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Wildlife Resources Division shooting sports staff will conduct a session about educational opportunities relative to hunter education, and help visitors with the Archery Booth – a fun way to test your aim that anyone can do! 

The free Shooting Sports Fest will take place, rain or shine, on Oct. 1, 2016 from 10 a.m. through 2 p.m. at the Shooting Sports Education Center at Georgia Southern University (3271 Old Register Road, Statesboro, GA 30458).
