Rapid Response Team Activated to Assist Pharmakon Employees in Noblesville
INDIANAPOLIS (September 27, 2016)
- The Indiana Department of
Workforce Development (DWD) and its community partner WorkOne Central Indiana have activated
the state’s Rapid Response team to assist employees affected by Pharmakon Pharmaceuticals and Pharmakon Long Term Care Pharmacy closing its facilities in Noblesville.
The state’s Rapid Response team is activated when a significant
layoff or plant closure occurs and pairs knowledgeable WorkOne staff with
displaced employees to move them toward a plan for re-employment as soon as
possible. Activities focus on connecting displaced employees with local
employment opportunities as well as providing resume assistance, interview
workshops and skills assessments.
