Education Professional Standards Board will hold its regular meeting on Dec. 11

(FRANKFORT, KY) –The Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB) will hold its regular meeting on Dec. 11 at noon ET. The majority of board members plan to attend in-person at the Kentucky Department of Education State Board Room (300 Sower Blvd., Frankfort).

The Education Professional Standards Board, in collaboration and cooperation with education partners, promotes high levels of student achievement by establishing and enforcing rigorous professional standards for the preparation, certification and responsible and ethical behavior of all professional educators in Kentucky.

  • Closed Session Review
    • Following a motion in open session pursuant to KRS 61.810 (1)(c) and (1)(j), it is anticipated that the board will move into closed session to conduct a character and fitness review and to review potential actions relating to complaints and reports. The board will also review pending litigation.

    • Following the closed session review, the board will move into open session. All decisions will be made in open session.
