The last of the Landscape Heritage Grants offered by Up on the Downs are now nearing completion. The grants programme has been a wonderful journey, with community groups, parish councils, charities and schools all accessing funds. Over 9,000 people have taken part in events and over £375,000 worth of projects have been completed. Find out more by downloading the final report...
Here at Up on the Downs we now have our own sheep and cows to help keep the fabulous flower rich grassland around Dover and Folkestone in tip-top condition. Funding has also been given to our partners so they could build two new corrals. Corrals make it easier to move livestock from place to place. However, our new cows and sheep need people to help look after them. Find out more...
