S.D. Miss. Bankr.: New Motion and Notice Events

U. S. Bankruptcy Court - S. D. Miss

Effective Date: March 28, 2024

Applies to: Bankruptcy Practitioners

Subject: New Events for Top Five Pleadings Requiring 21-Day Notice

The Clerk’s office has developed five new events related to certain pleadings that require a 21-day notice. The new events allow/require a filer to upload both the motion and notice for certain pleadings rather than requiring the filer to use two separate events and two separate uploads. These new events provide a more efficient option for filers of the five most frequently used events requiring a 21-day notice. However, if a filer prefers to use two separate events, that option remains available in the system.

The events are available under the Bankruptcy > Motions/Application menu in CM/ECF.
