Project Toolkit comment period ends Thursday
Thank you for the overwhelming response to the draft
Medicaid Transformation Project Toolkit. The public comment period for the toolkit closes at 5 p.m. Thursday, February 2.
The Health Care Authority (HCA) will accept comments about the
draft Transformation Project Toolkit by e-mail to MedicaidTransformation@hca.wa.gov.
After the comment period, we will post formal comment letters that were received on the Healthier Washington website. Your feedback will help inform our revisions for the final toolkit, which will be posted in March.
The toolkit provides details about the projects that will be
eligible for funding under Initiative 1 of the Medicaid Transformation demonstration.
Under Initiative 1, Accountable Communities of Health
will pursue projects aimed at transforming the Medicaid delivery system to
serve the whole person and use resources more wisely. The Transformation
Project Toolkit was developed with state and regional health priorities in
mind, including input from cross-sector experts and stakeholders.

Public forums taking place statewide
The HCA is holding a series of public meetings to give Healthier Washington staff and the public a chance to engage, ask questions, and offer comments about the recently signed Medicaid Transformation Project demonstration. See the schedule and RSVP online
