New Community Checkup website adds interactive features, supports transparency

The Washington Health Alliance today announced the launch of its new Community Checkup website, its signature site with detailed results on the quality of care and patient experience within Washington State. The new site, supported by Healthier Washington, includes enhancements that will increase the usefulness of the site for health care purchasers, providers and consumers.

In addition to detailed results for the Washington State Common Measure Set for Health Care Quality and Cost, the site’s new features include:

  • Data visualizations in both table and graph formats
  • Ability to compare results among geographies (county, Accountable Communities of Health) and facilities (medical groups, clinics and hospitals)
  • Highlights of key issues illustrated by interactive data
  • A step-by-step tool to help consumers choose a medical group or hospital that meets their particular needs

The Statewide Common Measure Set provides the foundation for health care accountability and measuring performance. The development and ongoing evolution and implementation of measures is  necessary to ensure our ability to measure progress towards achieving better health outcomes for all residents in Washington.
