Fostering Devon Duty

‘Fostering Devon Duty’ is an additional duty service and is designed to ensure that anyone can make immediate contact with a qualified worker when they are unable to get hold of supervising social worker or manager. Supervising Social Workers, the Placement Team and Children’s Placement Support Team are still the first point of contact for issues relating to carers and their placements during office hours, and EDT are the first point of contact out of office hours.

If you can’t get hold of your Supervising Social Worker or their manager and need to speak to someone urgently, you can call 01392 383000 and ask for ‘Fostering Devon Duty’ between the hours of 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, and 9am to 4pm on Fridays.
