New Barry Farm Resident Council Officers Sworn In
This summer, Barry Farm residents elected new resident leaders for the Barry Farm Resident Council. You can view the newly sworn-in leadership below. Resident Council meetings occur every 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm and are held at the Barry Farm Recreation Center, 1230 Sumner Rd, SE.

Mayor Bowser Attends ANC 8C Meeting
Mayor Bowser attended the monthly ANC 8C meeting on Wednesday, November 1st at the RISE Demonstration Center. She touched on several issues relevant to Barry Farm residents and the greater Ward 8 community including the new proposed hospital, the expansion of the Summer Youth Employment Program and the creation of the Infrastructure Academy to train DC residents in the employment sector. The Mayor’s activities on the ground are led by the Mayor's Office of Community Relations and Services (MOCRS). If you would like to get in contact with MOCR, the Ward 8 liaisons are Keisha Mims (keisha.mims@dc.gov, 202-727-3000) and Devon Lesesne (Devon.lesesne2@dc.gov, 202-727-6167). They are available to engage residents about the services, activities, opportunities of the District government.
