Placement
Agreements
As you know for every
young person you look after you should be given a copy of the ‘Placement
Agreement’ document, the form that contains the signatures and consents that
enable you to look after that young person.
We want to make sure you have this important document, so
over the coming weeks your supervising worker will be checking that you’ve
received one for the children/young people currently living with you. For your
future placements remember we’re working with our children/young people’s
social worker colleagues to ensure you always receive them.
Release of Additional Tickets for the Pantomime
We are so encouraged by the response for tickets for the

the email confirming your booking and request additional tickets by the date

Save the Date! 21/12/2017 – Christmas Day out at the
Donkey Sanctuary for Carers and Children in Mid and East Devon and Exeter
We are planning a day out at the
Donkey Sanctuary for carers in Mid and East Devon and Exeter (and fostered
children and children who foster) on Thursday 21st December 2017.
We are planning for this to include a Treasure Trail for younger children, and
lunch for everyone. If you would like to attend please can you contact
foster carer Katie Ranft by email - ranfts@talktalk.net
- with your name and how many adults/children you expect to bring (and whether
the children will want to go on a Treasure Trail).
Once we have an idea
of numbers we can provide more details. If we have a large number of
responses we may need to limit the activity to first come, first served but we
are hoping that everyone who wants to can come.

County Lines
County lines, sometimes referred
to as Dangerous Drug Networks (DDN’s) is the police term for urban gangs
supplying drugs into our local market and coastal towns using dedicated mobile
phone numbers, often referred to as ‘graft phones’ or ‘deal lines’. This
article is important to read as we know that children and young people in care
are vulnerable to being drawn in.
