 Happy Holidays from Fostering Devon
CiC Awards 2018… the nominations are open!
(reminder to nominate before 31/1/18)
On the evening of Friday 23 March 2018 at St James School,
Exeter, we will be holding our annual event to celebrate the achievements of
Devon’s Children & Young People in Care and Care Leavers. This is a
scheme to recognise and say ‘well done’ for real achievement for individual
Children & Young People. Anyone can nominate a Child in Care to

Early Help 4 Mental Health
Devon
County Council staff and Foster Carers can guide young people to access this
new service, aimed at 11-19 year olds but also available to care leavers up to
the age of 25. The aim is to give young people a range of options and an
ability to choose what is the best option for them. There are a number of
options that are open to young people including
- Online
Support - through online counselling, self help tools, magazine articles,
forums and information about mental health
- Face
to Face counselling
- Mentoring
- Participation
