IDVA hosts 3rd Annual

How & Why to Hire a Veteran Summit

Companies from across the state came together on September 27th to learn more about military resumes and transition, while also letting veterans and IDVA's Employment Team know what they expected to receive. This year also had companies give job offers to veterans in attendance of the reverse job fair.

Special thanks to our conference speakers & breakout session organizations: Erika Steuterman (Chairman), Jim Brown (Director), Jim Morrison (Lt. Governor's Office), Mark Doud (Indiana Housing & Community Development), Dee Pugh (IN Army National Guard Employment Team),  Chad & Tricia Ringer(Ring-Co Tracked Utility Chair), Ron Neff (Force Multiplier Ventures),  Steve Haines and Amy Porter (Dale Carnegie), Amber Mertens (State Approving Agency), and James Webb (Department of Workforce Development)

This event would not have been possible without our summit donors: Eli Lilly, Flanner Buchanan, Vet Biz Central, Hammond Horseshoe Casino, SpartanNash, Milestone LP, DOT Transportation, and the Morales Group
