The Last Day to Request a Ballot by Mail is October 26

PHOENIX—October 26 is the last day registered voters can request a ballot by mail for the upcoming 2018 General Election. Voters must submit their requests by 5 p.m.

Voters who have completed their ballots can mail them back, or drop them off at any voting location. A list of Vote Centers, and their hours of operation are available at www.Locations.Maricopa.Vote.

If Maricopa County residents have not already requested their early ballot, they can do so at www.Request.Maricopa.Vote

"Giving voters extra time to research and get to know candidates is extremely important. The ease of the ballot coming right to the doorstep of voters eliminates the stress of live polling, which creates a more positive experience," Recorder Adrian Fontes said.  

Voters who requested a ballot by mail, but did not receive one within two to five business days can call (602)506-1511. They can also email EVReq@Risc.Maricopa.Gov. To verify their identity, they must include their full name, address and date of birth within the email.

Early voters will be able to track their ballot by texting "Join" to 628-683. They will get notifications when their ballot is mailed, received, verified and sent to be counted.

El último día para solicitar una boleta por correo es el 26 de octubre

PHOENIX—El 26 de octubre es el último día para que los votantes registrados puedan solicitar una boleta por correo para la próxima Elección General de 2018. Los votantes deben enviar sus solicitudes antes de las 5 p.m.

A los votantes que ya han llenado sus boletas pueden devolverlas por correo o dejarlas en cualquier Lugar de Votación. Una lista de Centros de Votación y sus horas de operación están disponibles en www.Ubicaciones.Maricopa.Voto.  

Si los residentes del Condado de Maricopa aún no han solicitado su boleta temprana, pueden hacerlo en www.Solicitud.Maricopa.Voto.

 

"Dar a los votantes tiempo adicional para investigar y conocer a los candidatos es extremadamente importante. La facilidad de que la boleta llegue directamente a la puerta de los votantes elimina el estrés de votar en persona, creando una experiencia más positiva", dijo el Registrador del Condado de Maricopa Adrian Fontes.

 

Los votantes que solicitaron una boleta por correo, pero no la recibieron en un plazo de dos a cinco días, pueden llamar al (602)506-1511. También pueden enviar un correo electrónico a EVReq@Risc.Maricopa.Gov. Para verificar su identidad, deben incluir su nombre completo, dirección y fecha de nacimiento en el correo electrónico.

 

Los votantes que votan temprano podrán rastrear su boleta al enviar un mensaje de texto con el mensaje "Unirse" al 628-683. Recibirán notificaciones cuando su boleta sea enviada por correo, recibida por el Departamento de Elecciones, verificada y enviada para ser contada
