WA Student Achievement Council Revised the Admission Standards Policy

WA Student Achievement Council (WSAC) revised the Admission Standards policy for this year’s seniors to allow colleges additional flexibility for college admissions this fall that includes:

  • Removes the 15% cap for how many first-year college students can be admitted using alternate standards (e.g. meeting fewer CADRs than normally required this year).
  • Allows institutions to give short-term test options without submitting anything in writing to the WSAC.

Check out a recent bulletin posted by the WSAC for links to their Top 5 Resources for using the school closure time to explore and prepare for career and college options after high school. For seniors specifically, check out the WSAC’s Class of 2020 Action Plan webpage made just for you!
