Golf Road resurfacing project to begin the week of April 13

The Illinois Department of Transportation will be contracting road resurfacing work on Golf Road from Waukegan Road to McCormick Boulevard. Work in the City of Evanston will take place on Golf Road from Crawford Avenue to McCormick Boulevard. Construction will begin the week of April 13 and is expected to be completed by the end of November 2020. 

This project involves curb replacements, the installation of accessible ADA ramps at intersections, roadway base repairs, asphalt surface replacement from curb to curb, and roadway striping. 

Construction activities will create some inconvenience for abutting businesses and residents, but we will attempt to minimize these inconveniences. Street sweeping and/or neighborhood parking restrictions may be waived for a one block radius around the construction zone when temporary daytime "NO PARKING" is in effect on cross streets.

Contractor
The contractor for this project is Builders Paving LLC, 4413 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, IL. The contractor is responsible for the means and methods of the work.
