DCD Announces New Lobby Hours!

Kitsap County has successfully applied to enter Phase 3 of Washington's Safe Start Reopening. When Kitsap County enters Phase 3, the Department of Community Development's lobby will re-open to the public with new lobby hours:
Monday-Friday, 9 am-12 pm. Business hours of operation will remain unchanged. 

Data Driven Decisions

An analysis of lobby traffic patterns revealed ongoing decreases in the number of lobby visits coinciding with an increase in virtual and online services. With the new lobby hours, customers will continue to have access to virtual services such as Permit Technician and Planner of the Day LIVE chats, Online Permit Submittal Portal, and online public records requests. DCD will also continue to offer in-person visits by appointment.

The decision to change lobby hours was reached through careful analysis of service trends and discussions with the Kitsap Board of Commissioners, County staff, and key stakeholders.
