What to do if you hear about a coronavirus case in your business

If a member of staff or customer tells you that they suspect they have (or have tested positive for) coronavirus, please contact the Public Health England Hampshire and Isle of Wight Health Protection Team (South East) by calling: 0344 225 3861.

There is more information on how businesses can help NHS Test and Trace on the GOV.UK website.

Support NHS Test and Trace by collecting visitor contact details

Businesses and organisations are being asked to collect contact details of their visitors to help NHS Test and Trace to reach anyone who may at a later date be found to have potentially been in contact with a positive coronavirus case whilst at a venue, helping to quickly contact people at risk of the virus and prevent localised outbreaks before they occur.

Customers are not required by law to give their information, but any information collected should be accurate to help contact people who may have been exposed to coronavirus.

For guidance on collecting and holding visitor information, go to the GOV.UK website.

How has coronavirus affected your business?

There is still time to tell us how the coronavirus crisis has impacted your business by completing a 10-minute survey.

The survey has been developed by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Local Resilience Forum with the University of Portsmouth.

To access the survey, go to: www.havant.gov.uk/business-survey

Expenses and benefits provided to employees during coronavirus

Guidance for employers on taxable expenses and benefits paid to employees because of coronavirus, and how to report them to HMRC, has been updated to include information on coronavirus tests.
