Are you comfortable shopping? Queuing? Exercising? Enjoying a meal out?
There is still time to tell us how the coronavirus has affected you, so we can best support the borough's recovery.
Take part in our survey before midnight on Sunday 23 August to help us understand how you have been affected and what you are comfortable doing during these unusual times.
If you would rather complete this survey over the phone, please call 023 9244 6053 during office hours, and one of the team will go through it with you.
Nellie the fish is visiting the shores of Hayling Island.
Helping to collect all our plastic bottles and alumimium cans to recycle effectively, you will find Nellie close to the Inn on the Beach.
Thank you to The Final Straw Solent for helping us to welcome Nellie.
There will be no change to collections this August bank holiday
All collection days will remain the same, even if your scheduled day is Monday 31 August.
You are reminded to put you bins out ready for collection by 7am on your scheduled day for crews from Norse South East to collect.
Garden waste collections will also continue throughout this time.
To check that you are recycling right, please visit our recycling pages.
Lets face it ..... don't mask litter
As more of us use personal protective equipment, including disposable face masks, we are reminding people how important it is to dispose of these items correctly.
When you are wearing a face mask whilst shopping, please do not drop them on the ground once you have finished with them. Not only is it littering and bad for the environment, but you may also put someone at risk of catching the virus, even if you are not showing any symptoms.
You can also be fined up to £80 if you drop litter.
Used disposable face coverings, gloves, tissues and wipes cannot be recycled. These should be disposed of in your rubbish bin.
For people suffering with symptoms associated with coronavirus or self-isolating at home, please follow Public Health England's guidelines regarding the disposal of waste.
