Council services are operating normally and any updates will be posted on our website at www.havant.gov.uk - along with advice for vulnerable residents and local businesses.

We are currently waiting for central government confirmation about the support package which will be available to businesses who are being told they must close - as well as additional support we may be able to offer those who are struggling because of the pandemic.
Test and trace isolation payments are continuing to be paid - and for more information please see the business support pages on our website.
Our communities team is working closely with Community First to help our residents who are most in need and are in regular contact with food banks. The team will also be working closely with Hampshire County Council to help support the 'clinically extremely vulnerable' throughout the new restrictions. Our housing team will also be doing everything it can to help rough sleepers off the streets and we are waiting further central government support about this.
Anyone wishing to contact the council should do so via email at customer.services@havant.gov.uk, or by telephone on 023 9244 6019 in the first instance, as the Public Service Plaza will continue to work on an appointment only system.
Our parks and play areas are staying open as are public toilets. Hampshire County Council's waste and recycling centres (HWRC's) are open, but your visit will need to be booked in advance. The only change will be that the reuse areas will close in line with all non essential retail from Thursday.
However, gyms and leisure centres will be closed from midnight on Wednesday 4 November - as a result of the new restrictions.
