Mainstreaming Consideration of Climate Change in NY: DEC provides new guidance on flood risk management

DEC commissioner Basil Seggos recognizes the importance of this step in planning for climate change: “The guidance released today will serve as valuable resources for both State agencies and those municipalities that choose to incorporate the State's flood-risk management guidelines into local planning”.
