Community vaccine clinic will not reopen next week
A community COVID-19 clinic, operated by Kitsap Public Health District and the Kitsap County Emergency Operations Center, vaccinated more than 2,000 patients in its opening week. In addition to those who registered online, their team helped book appointments for more than 200 community members who did not have internet access or needed assistance completing the online form.

After building positive momentum with a successful first week of operations, we are disappointed to announce that we are not able to reopen the clinic next week. Kitsap Public Health was notified on Friday evening that the Washington State Department of Health, which allocates shipments of vaccine to healthcare providers, did not allocate any vaccine doses to Kitsap Public Health for the week of Jan. 31 - Feb. 6. Kitsap Public Health will continue requesting vaccine allocations from the state and announce additional clinic openings as soon as more vaccine is received. Please sign up for updates.
To everyone still waiting to get their vaccine: Thank you for your patience and understanding. We know this process has been confusing and frustrating for many. More vaccine is being produced and we expect supplies will increase in the coming weeks. Everyone who is eligible will be able to get vaccinated, but it will take time.
Other healthcare organizations may have vaccination appointments available. Please check the state's list of vaccine providers or call 1-800-525-0127.

Kitsap Transit offers rides to vaccine sites
If you need transportation assistance to a COVID vaccine site, please contact Kitsap Transit's ACCESS staff at (360) 479-7272. You must have an appointment at the vaccination site. Please call at least one day in advance to book your ride. Due to wait times, after you have received your vaccination, you'll need to call ACCESS to request a ride home.
