CSMS #46546391 - U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) 1USG Messaging Update

U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), in conjunction with CBP, is expanding the roll out of Two Way Messaging to all commercial brokers on March 22, 2021. This will not include Express Courier traffic.

This process only impacts Modes of Entry that are Air, Truck or Ocean.

CPSC is continuing communication with all filers regarding this roll out and its impact through the National Customs Brokers & Forwarders Association of America (NCBFAA), Trade Support Network (TSN) sessions and other association meetings. Further outreach is available and can be planned through contacting our team at ram-2way@cpsc.gov .

CPSC will be updating guidance in the coming weeks, which can found at: www.cpsc.gov/imports
