Below are the road closures being planned for May 2021.
First Friday in the Arts District
Friday, May 7
First Friday is a monthly art, music and food festival in the Arts District. Attendance is limited to 250 persons; attendees may register in advance at https://www.ffflv.org/events/event until the event is full. Road closures start at 10 a.m. May 7. Roads will reopen at 10:30 p.m. Major closures: Boulder to Coolidge avenues, Art Way to First Street. See the map below.
 Las Vegas Days "Reverse" Parade
Saturday, May 15
Las Vegas Days Parade is an annual event held in downtown Las Vegas. This year, as with everything, we are doing things differently. Participants will be static on the Third Street sidewalks and viewers will drive the parade route. Road closures start at 7 a.m. May 15. Roads will reopen at 2 p.m. Major closures: Third Street from Garces Avenue to Charleston Boulevard and all cross streets in between, plus a single lane closure on Fourth Street from Charleston Boulevard to Garces Avenue.
