COVID-19 Testing Results Update for Kitsap County as of 2 p.m. June 28
6/28/2021 UPDATE: There will be a COVID-19 Bulletin published on Wednesday, June 30, but due to the Independence Day holiday weekend, the COVID-19 bulletin will not be published Friday, July 2 nor Monday, July 5. The bulletin will resume Wednesday, July 7.
Now is the time to get your COVID-19 vaccine. Visit Kitsap County Public Health at kcowa.us/vaccine and sign up for vaccine updates from Kitsap Public Health here.
Community-based COVID-19 drive-thru testing is available Mondays and Thursdays at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds. Learn more and pre-register at kcowa.us/covidtesting.

Kitsap Public Health offers five vaccine clinics this week
Kitsap Public Health is offering five COVID-19 vaccination clinics this week. Find full clinic details here or go to kcowa.us/vaccine.
NOTE: Kitsap Public Health is monitoring the weather this week and could cancel or modify hours at outdoor clinics if temperatures do not drop to a safer level. Check kcowa.us/vaccine or the Kitsap Public Health Facebook page for updates. You may also call the health district at 360-728-2219.
The Poulsbo drive-through clinic scheduled for Tuesday, June 29 was canceled due to the excessive heat forecasted. Patients who had appointments at the clinics will be notified. For questions about these cancellations, please call 360-728-2219.

Washington is getting ready for reopening
As more and more Washingtonians get the COVID-19 vaccine, we’re getting closer to returning to normal life. Soon, businesses will be able to resume operating at their full capacities again. This is welcome news for Washington businesses, workers, and customers.
Recently, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said fully vaccinated people don’t need to wear masks indoors or outdoors. As a result, many businesses dropped their mask requirements for customers. But what about their workers?
To help workers better understand these changes, the Washington State Department of Health connected with the Department of Labor & Industries to get clarification.

Help! I lost my COVID vaccine card!
Due to COVID-19, vaccines are on our minds. You may be wondering: “What vaccines have I already had? Which vaccines do I still need to get? How can I find out if my kids have all their vaccinations for school?”
Another pressing question might be, “What do I do if I lose my COVID-19 vaccination card?”
There’s good news — most of your vaccine questions can be answered easily with the help of an online portal. Washington state offers an authorized service called MyIR Mobile which allows you to safely access your and your family’s immunization records online. It’s free, official, and secure. Once registered, you can access all of your vaccination records — including your COVID-19 vaccine records.
MyIR (which stands for “My Immunization Records”) updates your information from healthcare records in the state’s immunization registry. Along with your COVID-19 vaccine record, it also maintains lifetime immunization histories for you and your family (for dependents under the age of 18). And, it allows parents and caregivers quick and convenient access to a child’s immunization status for school, sports, and childcare registrations.
