The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) oversees:

  1. The Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act - the provision of employment assistance, labor market information, and education through programs for adults, dislocated workers, youth, Job Corps
  2. Employment services authorized by the Wagner-Peyser Act,
  3. Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA)
  4. Foreign Labor Certification activities authorized by the Immigration and Nationality Act.
  5. The Senior Community Service Employment Program
  6.  Apprenticeship programs authorized by the National Apprenticeship Act.
  7. The federal-state Unemployment Insurance (UI) program
