TIDE NOW OPEN FOR SY 2021-22

System Roll-Over Requires Users To Create New Passwords

All users need to complete the steps below to create a new password:

From the Wyoming Assessment Portal, select the Educators tile, followed by the TIDE portal card to navigate to the TIDE login page.
Select the ‘Request a new one for this school year’ link just below the login prompt.
On the ‘Reset Your Password’ page, enter the email address you use for all Wyoming Assessment systems and select the ‘Submit’ button.
An email from DoNotReply@cambiumast.com will be sent to the email address entered in Step 3. The email contains a link to reset your password. This link must be accessed within 15 minutes or you will need to restart the password reset process.
Select the link in the email and follow the on-screen prompts to create a new password. Press the ‘Submit’ button.

Upon login, an ‘Enter Code’ page may appear. An authentication code will automatically be sent to your email address. You must enter this code into the ‘Enter Emailed Code’ field and select the ‘Submit’ button within 15 minutes of receiving the authentication code email. Throughout the school year, returning users who access Wyoming Assessment systems from a new device or browser, or who have cleared the cache on a previously-used browser will be required to receive an emailed code after entering their username and password via the secure login prompt.

District Test Coordinators should then follow the process in the TIDE User Guide, found in the Resources section of the Wyoming Assessment Portal, to begin adding new system access for all other users. SCIENCE BLUEPRINTS

WY-ALT Updated Document for SY 2021-22

On August 6, 2021, the State Board of Education (SBE) approved the WY-ALT Science Blueprint 2022+, which will be fully assessed in Spring 2022.

The WY-ALT Assessment is aligned to the Wyoming Extended Standards. The 2018 Science Extended Standards are an extension of the 2016 Wyoming Science Standards and designed to allow students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in an appropriately rigorous assessment. This WY-ALT Science Blueprint mirrors the 2021+ WY-TOPP Science Blueprint.
Performance Level Descriptors (PLDs) for WY-TOPP and Achievement Level Descriptors (ALDs) for WY-ALT can be found on the WDE PLD page. (Note: PLDs and ALDs are synonymous and describe the performance expectations).
All Assessment Blueprints (BP) for WY-TOPP and WY-ALT are found on the WDE Blueprint page.

2021-22 WY-TOPP BRAILLE SURVEY FOR ALL DISTRICTS

Attention: DTCs and Service Providers for Visually Impaired Students

The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) is requesting all districts respond to the Braille Survey by October 1, 2021.

If there are no Braille readers in your district this year, please mark that on the survey.
If there is more than one student who uses Braille, please complete the survey for each student who is a Braille reader in your district.
The survey details the type(s) of delivery Braille readers use and will need in order to access the statewide assessment system.

WY-TOPP AND WY-ALT ASSESSMENT REPORTS

WY-ALT Paper Individual Student Reports (ISRs) will be shipped to schools on September 1 and should arrive on campus between September 6-7.
WY-TOPP Paper ISRs will be shipped to schools on September 16 and should arrive on campus between September 21-22.

Key Information to Keep in Mind About ACT WorKKeys

Fall Online & Paper Testing Window: Sept. 13 - Oct. 1, 2021.
After successfully completing the Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents portions of the WorkKeys assessment, students will earn the National Career Readiness Certificate (NCRC).
Test coordinators should have received an email communication from ACT WorkKeys, which included information about the fall paper order window, online testing realm set up, training, etc.
