What to Know!

The temporary unemployment benefit programs authorized under the CARES Act, has expired. Employers are hiring all over the State of MaineTake advantage and land or upgrade a great opportunity this year! Now is the time to maximize the opportunities of the current job market

It is not easy to balance a household budget when your living on a low income. But there are ways to supplement your income by claiming all of the benefits and supports you have the right to claim.  Free legal assistance is available here in Maine!

The Maine Bureau of Veterans' Services (BVS) and eight participating clinics, including the UMA Dental Hygiene Clinic in Bangor, plan to provide dental hygiene services to veterans unable to afford preventative dental care. Veterans must be able to provide a copy of their DD-214.

Maine’s Hire-A-Vet Campaign is underway.  Keep an eye out for the upcoming workshops and hiring events. All hiring events & some workshops are open to the public.
