REMINDER: OPEN OFFICE HOURS

3:30-5 p.m. on September 9, 2021 (Zoom)

  • The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) Assessment and Accountability teams will host an online ‘open office hours’ style forum for school district leaders and interested educators. 
  • The Assessment Director will share information and cautions around the assessment data, and the Accountability Director will discuss available resources that will support continued learning opportunities for students and staff.
  • The WDE will answer questions and hear school districts’ thoughts and concerns. This time will be an open office hour, so attend as available.

ACT DISTRICT TEST COORDINATOR (DTC) SURVEY

Complete by September 15, 2021

  • To ensure the WDE has accurate information for current DTCs for the ACT, complete this short survey.

FALL WORKKEYS PAPER ORDER WINDOW EXTENDED

Extended to September 10, 2021

  • For information on placing materials and scoring orders for paper testing, see the Paper Testing Resources section on the ACT WorkKeys Administration website.
  • Test coordinators should have received an email communication from ACT WorkKeys, which included information about fall paper ordering, online testing realm set up, training, etc.
  • The Online & Paper Testing Window is scheduled for September 13 - October 1, 2021.

REGISTER NOW FOR THE 2022 NATIONAL ASSESSMENT OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS (NAEP)

Register Online by September 23, 2021

Instructions and registration materials were sent to schools selected for the 2022 NAEP this week via email (hardcopy versions are also being sent to the schools’ principals via regular mail).

  • Principals are asked to review the materials ASAP, designate a building coordinator and ensure their school(s) register online for NAEP before Thursday, September 23.
  • Building coordinators will use a unique 8-digit school code highlighted in yellow in their registration materials to create system-user accounts at MyNAEP.com and register their schools.
  • After creating a system password, coordinators need to complete the initial Provide School Information (PSI) section on the website to finalize a school’s registration.
  • To view a brief video on completing the PSI form, click here. Creating a user account and completing the PSI should only take about 5-10 minutes of staff time.
