Celebrate Mexican Independence Day with us
It's almost here! Kick off Hispanic Heritage Month and celebrate El Grito de Dolores in North Las Vegas with Councilman Barron and special guests. Join the City of North Las Vegas for a Mexican Independence Day Celebration at Liberty Park (outside of North Las Vegas City Hall)! The event will officially kick off El Grito de Dolores in the Las Vegas Valley. The fun starts at 5 p.m. with interactive booths, a kids area, resources, food and more! We'll also have free COVID vaccines and testing. Live entertainment is also scheduled with Rosa Gloria Chagoyan and Beatriz Montes! Promote your Latin restaurants during Hispanic Heritage Month
We're gearing up to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by promoting Hispanic-owned restaurants in North Las Vegas! For a chance to be featured on the City's social media accounts, North Las Vegas restaurants owners can submit photos and information about their Hispanic business to the following links:

6-week Spanish Small Business Program
UNLV's Office of Economic Development, the Nevada Small Business Development
Center, and the City of North Las Vegas are hosting a 6-week in-person course providing insight on several business topics. You will be given a first hand opportunity to listen to professionals and connect with business advisors for additional guidance and resources. This six-week course will be entirely in Spanish.
Details: Tuesdays (September 21 - October 26) from 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Pan Dulce con la Policia
