The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, also known as "VR," is a Department of Labor program that helps people who have disabilities to get and keep a job.

New Ventures Maine helps people all over the state venture in new directions by offering tuition-free programs for career, business, and financial education

Maine’s Hire-A-Vet Campaign is underway.  Keep an eye out for the upcoming workshops and hiring events. All hiring events & most workshops are open to the public.

The Basics!

The Senior Community Service Employment Program (SCSEP) is a community service and work-based job training program for older Americans. The program provides training for low-income, unemployed seniors.

The third week of September is National Farm Safety & Health Week. It’s timed for this week because it’s about the same time that farmers take to the fields working tirelessly to get their crops in for the year.
