Decades of research demonstrate that student-teacher and student-student interactions are primary factors in success in education. This interactive session will focus on practical, research-informed approaches to cultivating educationally powerful human interactions in the classroom. Although the research is based in higher education, it will resonate with research on, and teaching in, all levels of education. |
“Looking Back to Move Ahead: Using Lessons Learned from Teaching During the COVID-19 Pandemic to Innovate in Education” by Torrey Trust

Teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic required innovative thinking, practices, and mindsets. Teachers had to be flexible, creative risk-takers and adaptive learners to ensure that students received the best possible education during one of the most challenging times of the century. This keynote presentation will focus on the importance of valuing and applying the lessons learned during the pandemic, including shifts in knowledge, skills, and mindsets, to build a more innovative and inclusive future of education. |
