SIGN UP TO TAKE A FREE HANDGUN CLASS: Family Day at the Range Series Continues
The Family Day at the Range series, which takes place at the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center in Mansfield, provides a perfect opportunity for those seeking information on firearms. This class series offers training courses for those that wish to learn or advance their knowledge of firearms, safety and also get the chance to shoot a variety of firearms.
Part of the series, Introduction to Handguns, is scheduled to take place from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 12 at the Georgia Department of Natural Resources’ Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center. The Introduction to Handguns class focuses on firearm safety, shooting technique, sight picture and sight alignment and how to resolve certain firearm malfunctions. Participants will have the opportunity to handle and shoot various handguns.
What do you need to do to attend? Registration is required, so call (770-784-3059) and let us know you are coming. All participants must be age 10 or older. Event will be held rain or shine.
