The 2021 BWSR Academy was held online the mornings of October 26-28th with over 500 registrants! This year we increased the number of sessions from 24 to 40 in seven tracks. Over 70 trainers shared their knowledge and experiences in the sessions that were offered. Trainers that included opportunities in their sessions for participant interaction were often mentioned as a positive by those completing the 2021 Academy evaluation. The vast majority of participants also shared that they acquired new skills to apply on the job. Thank you to all who registered and participated to make the 2021 BWSR Academy a successful training opportunity!!

Thank you to everyone that completed their 2021 Individual Development Plan (IDP). Between January 1 and October 15 of this year, 375 people identified nearly 2,400 technical training needs in their IDPs. Throughout the month, this information will be reviewed by your Area Technical Training Team (ATTT) to determine local training priorities. Those priorities will then be compiled at the state level and used to develop a training plan for 2022.
Didn’t complete your IDP or have new training needs? Communicate your technical training needs directly to your ATTT and add them to your IDP today. We regularly pull updated information from the IDP tool and use it for direct email advertisement when applicable trainings are being held.
