2021 Discipline Data Validation Reports TEAL Release Notification

The Performance-Based Monitoring (PBM) 2021 Discipline Data Validation District and Student Reports can now be accessed on the Texas Education Agency Login (TEAL) Accountability Application for local education agencies (LEAs).  These reports are confidential and must be handled as such.

A detailed description of the indicators examined in this year’s analysis can be found in the 2021 Discipline Records Data Validation Manual available at Data Validation Manuals.

Accessing the TEAL Accountability Application

Log onto TEAL at https://tealprod.tea.state.tx.us/. If you have access to TEAL Accountability, you will see ACCT – Accountability listed as one of the applications available.  Launching ACCT – Accountability will take you into the site. You can access the 2021 Discipline Data Validation Report by accessing the Performance-Based Monitoring tab.

Obtaining a TEAL Username and Password or Access to the Accountability Application

If you do not have a TEAL username and password, or if you do not have access to the Accountability Application on TEAL, follow the TEAL request process outlined at: https://helpdesk.tea.texas.gov/hc/en-us/categories/200929903-TEAL-Access. You can also use this link to the “TEAL Access” page of the TEA Help Desk if you have forgotten, or wish to reset, your TEAL password.

Performance-Based Monitoring (PBM) contacts are available at each education service center (ESC) to provide technical assistance to school districts. ESC PBM contacts can be found at http://tea4avholly.tea.state.tx.us/tea.askted.web/Forms/Home.aspx using the Search RESCs function.
