Christmas Opening at the Record Office

The Staffordshire Record Office will close for Christmas at 1pm on Friday 24 December.

Please note that we need 5 working days notice for the production of items located at our off site store. The last date for requesting these will be Friday 17 December.  Production will be suspended until Wednesday 6 January.

Saturday 7 May 2022, online

We are finalising the details for our first online Staffordshire History Day in partnership with Keele University and the University of Birmingham. The programme and booking details will be published in this newsletter, on our website and via our social media accounts in early 2022. 


Asylums taster exhibition

'A Case for the Ordinary: Staffordshire asylums and the patient experience'  

The small taster exhibition is now at Newcastle-under-Lyme library. Opening times are available on the library's website.  

The main touring exhibition will open at the Museum of Cannock Chase on Monday 10 January 2022. Admission to the museum is free. Please look at their website for opening times - http://www.museumofcannockchase.org/
