WIDA AMS Upgrade at 7 p.m. MST on March 10, 2022.

WIDA AMS Security Patch from 10 p.m. MST Saturday to 10 a.m. MST Sunday on March 5-6, 2022.

Updated Supported System Requirements for ACCESS for ELLs Online and WIDA Screener Online have been posted to WIDA AMS. These system requirements are valid through August 6-7, 2022.

WIDA AMS Test Setup Available for test sessions through June 30, 2022. To participate in WIDA Screener Online, students must be added to WIDA AMS and placed into test sessions. Add students and create test sessions independently, or add students to an existing test session.

The purpose of this eWorkshop is to learn how to support bilingual students who are struggling with reading in English. Participants will be part of an online Professional Learning Community that supports participants’ collaboration and fosters ownership of their learning. Over the course of 15 weeks, participants will engage in six self-paced modules that each consist of three sections: Explore, Make it Work, and Share. State ESL Conference is April 29-30, 2022
- The University of Wyoming, in partnership with Campbell County School District #1, will host the Wyoming ESL and DLI Conference in April 2022.
- The WDE will be presenting a session titled: “English Learner (EL) Identification, Accountability, and State ACCESS Results” during the conference.

March 18-31, 2022 - View Student Information Before Processing
- Data validation is completed by the District Test Coordinator (DTC), but permissions may be given to Building Coordinators and/or Test Administrators.
- Use WIDA AMS for data validation.
- Pre-reporting data validation occurs before initial reporting and impacts reports (both printed and posted in WIDA AMS) and data files.
- Reports are generated following the close of data validation.
- WIDA AMS will be closed for editing when the data validation window closes while reports are being printed/posted to AMS.

- Review the data for all students and validate.
- If a District, School label was adhered to a booklet, but demographic information was not bubbled (or bubbled incorrectly), this information could be added or edited during Data Validation:
- Demographic information.
- Grades.
- WISER ID#.
- Middle names (initials).
- Accommodations.
- Student duplicate records.

Due March 8, 2022
- It is the responsibility of the District Test Coordinator (DTC) to ensure all students complete ACCESS/ALT ACCESS for ELLs testing.
- In the event a student does not complete all, or any portion of the domain tests, the DTC must complete and submit this form to the WDE.
- Districts must wait until the testing window has ended to submit the SNTF.
EL Reporting Needed for March and May/June
Important EL student information is collected.
- Upcoming Collection times:
- March 684 Collection:
- Open for district reporting from March 1-15, 2022.
- EL errors reports will run starting on March 16, 2022, and the final opportunity to fix errors will be March 31, 2022.

May/June 684 Collection:
- Open for district reporting from May 23-June 24, 2022.
- There are two methods that districts can receive WDE684 errors.
- An email with an Excel spreadsheet explicitly explaining errors.
- Districts can go to the WDE website and download the errors.
- The EL Guidebook is being updated and will be released before next school year.
- The current EL Guidebook can always be found on the EL Webpage.
