County Executive Rushern Baker, January 25, 2016

Masthead

SNOW RECOVERY UPDATE: We have made it through an historic snow storm due to the on-going cooperation of residents and the around-the-clock hard work of multiple county agencies such as the Department of Public Works and Transportation, Office of Emergency Preparedness/Emergency Operations Center, Police, Fire EMS, 3-1-1- Call Center, Department of the Environment, Health and Human Services all working in partnership to deliver stellar services. I commend and thank each of you for your continued efforts.

County government offices are closed today. No decision has been made, as yet, about Tuesday. Our road crews are still hard at work clearing the 1,800 miles of county-maintained roadways. Please be patient and be assured that we will get to your neighborhood. As that work continues, all County-contracted residential trash collection services, including bulky trash, recycling and yard waste collection remain suspended until further notice. Every effort will be made to resume collection service routes as soon as the roads are deemed passable. Visit http://mypgc.us for further updates and alert information. You may also contact CountyClick at 3-1-1 from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m., Monday – Friday or submit a request for assistance online at www.countyclick311.com. Please dial 911 only in emergencies.
