This Week: School Board Meetings, Senior Scholarship Opportunity, Vaccine Clinic, Job Fair and Theater Performances

Dear Lee District Families -

I wanted to share some time sensitive opportunities with the Lee District Community.

The School Board will be holding a Work Session tomorrow and a Regular  Meeting on Thursday.

For our high school seniors, there is a scholarship opportunity that I was just made aware of and wanted to share the below details as the deadline is May 1. I hope that some of our seniors can take advantage of this opportunity.

The Fairfax County Health Department is hosting a vaccine clinic at Groveton Elementary School this Thursday, April 28. Please see additional details below.

Lastly, I wanted to share with you some upcoming webinars, a job fair and a reminder about some live theater performances happening around the Lee District. I hope to see you there.

Best,
Tammy

  • In-depth opioid information.
  • Reasons why youth use substances.
  • Ways parents can support their children.
  • Available FCPS and Fairfax County Resources.
  • Ways students, parents, and community members can connect with support providers.

Registration for the webinars is available online.
