Training: “The ACT Test and Your Data”
- The Wyoming Department of Education (WDE) is partnering with ACT to provide training on ACT data. Five 3-hour training sessions will be available at four locations across the state from September 26-30, 2022.
- Registration is open to all school and district staff who will benefit from ACT data training. Locations and times are listed in the registration.
- Register here.
- Spring 2022 ACT Reports will be available to districts on July 19. Participants should ensure they have appropriate access to Success in order to view their school’s data. Please bring a laptop to the training.
NEW: Fall 2022 ‘Senior Retakes’
- The WDE is offering ACT Senior Retakes for the next two school years. This is free and optional for students enrolled in the 12th grade.
- Test Window:
- Paper Test Date: October 18, 2022.
- Accommodated Paper Test Dates: October 18-21, 24-28, 2022.
- Online Standard & Accommodated Test Dates: October 18-20, 25-27, 2022.
- The deadline to submit requests for ACT-Authorized accommodations and/or supports is August 26, 2022. Requests can be submitted as early as now. Refer to the TAA User Guide for guidance on submitting requests.
- To use previously-authorized accommodations and/or supports, refer to page 11 of the guide in order to associate those accommodations and/or supports to the fall window.
- The fall test selection (i.e. Managing Participation) and Verify Enrollment window is from August 1-26, 2022.

Post-Reporting Data Validation May 24-June 1, 2022
- The data validation process is designed to identify student demographic, accommodation, and test result records that could potentially contain errors as well as provide the opportunity for corrective action before reporting.
- Review the demographics, results, and accommodations for errors, and report it to the WDE for correction by May 31, 2022.

EDUCATORS NEEDED: WY-ALT Content and Fairness Review
- The WDE seeks Wyoming educators to participate in the WY-ALT Content and Fairness Item Review Committee meetings for ELA, Math, and Science.
- Meetings will be held virtually June 21-23, 2022.
- All applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 p.m. on May 26, 2022 to be considered.

EDUCATORS NEEDED: WY-TOPP Science Content and Fairness Review
- The WDE seeks Wyoming educators to participate in the WY-TOPP Content Alignment Review Committee or the WY-TOPP Bias & Fairness Item Review Committee for Science.
- These committees will be held in-person on August 11, 2022 in Cheyenne, WY.
- Committee members will be eligible for an honorarium that will be paid after all committee work is complete. All applications must be submitted by no later than 11:59 p.m. on June 10, 2022 to be considered.

Cambium Assessment Server Migration
- From 6 p.m. on Friday, May 20, to 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 22, Cambium Assessment’s data storage server for all operational assessments will migrate from Rackspace to AWS.
- During this time, all current URLs for Modular Assessments, Practice Tests, and the TA Interface will not be accessible.
- Once the migration has occurred, Cambium will provide updated URLs in all portal resources and as an announcement.
- Please note this migration will only affect the URLs for the Test Delivery System.

Download TIDE User Files and Rosters
- Each year, TIDE system ‘Users’ are reset in order to ensure security.
- The WDE encourages districts to download their current users, revise those files to update staff and any role changes, and prepare the file for re-upload in the fall.

Remember, each user role comes with a certain level of student data access. Assigning all test administrators to a Building Coordinator role may allow unnecessary access to student information and could be a FERPA violation. Refer to the User Role Chart.
- Student rosters may also be downloaded and securely stored until they can be re-uploaded for the fall interim window.
