Talus LLC Update, June 17, 2022

Dear Community Members,
I want to update you on the Talus project. Construction is expected to resume next week beginning with staging the site and subsequently, resuming mass grading and sediment and erosion control measures. There are approximately 22,500 cubic yards of mass grading work to be completed of the original 157,000 cubic yards.
Staff shared that the site is expected to be accessed from both Ellen Dr. and Erin Dr., in order to mitigate the amount of dust generated onsite from trucks that would otherwise need to enter Erin Dr. and traverse to the other end of the job site.
Ghilotti Construction is notifying neighbors of the upcoming work and shared the following message:
"Ghilotti Construction will be starting work back up at the Talus Reserve Subdivision project. Please see below information for the upcoming construction work. We appreciate your patience and cooperation while we work towards successfully completing this project.
DURATION OF CONSTRUCTION (TENTATIVE*):
CIVIL: Underground / Earthwork & Grading / Roadway Paving
Monday June 20, 2022 to October 28, 2022*
*Dates subject to change
WORKING HOURS:
Typically from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm:
Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturday work from 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
TRAFFIC CONTROL:
You may encounter minor construction noise and traffic delays due to the dynamics of the work involved. Full access will be restored after crew work hours end daily.
CONTROL PROCEDURE:
It is our commitment to keep these inconveniences to a minimum. We will work to minimize the
inconvenience to you, however, construction noise and activity may be present throughout the work day. Traffic delays of up to five minutes may be expected.
