July is:

…the month when we celebrate the birthday of a wise man! July 18 is Nelson Mandela Day. Nelson Mandela was a human rights lawyer, a prisoner of conscience, a peacemaker, and the first democratically elected president of a free South Africa. Nelson Mandela Day celebrates the idea that each person has the power to transform the world and the ability to make an impact. So, in honor of his 67 years of public service, the Nelson Mandela Foundation and the U.N. ask that you spend 67 minutes of your time helping others.

Notable Quote:

“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” – Nelson Mandela
